Michael,

I get 20 to 30 rpm drop on each side. ( 3300 ) This is after break-in ( 96 hrs ). The first few hours my mag drop was  inconsistent due to rings not seated and uneven oil consumption.  Still not close to a hundred except when mixture was VERY rich and plugs sooted up.  My first 15~45 hrs was spent trying to get mixture and cooling problems solved. Now if I get more than a 40 rpm drop it is usually a plug and will clear up after a good flight.
