Hi Kolbers,

A week ago while doing maintenance on my plane, the gascolator seal gasket broke. It is a Tillotson gascolator. I can not find where to buy spare parts to replace the gasket. Any idea?

  Usually the auto supply parts house sells sheets of gasket material.  Years ago I
bought of the fiber type and the cork type gasket in 8" x 11" sheets.  I have made many gaskets
from these two sheets. 
  When you can't buy a replacement gasket, making one yourself is better than nothing.

Juan, nitrile rubber, also called buna-N is resistant to gasoline. Perhaps a local supplier could sell you a little piece.If not there are several online suppliers:

Juan, Another option may be to see if McMaster Carr has a square form Buna N O-ring of the right size.http://www.mcmaster.com/#square-o-rings/=8k87ol

Hi guys,

Thanks for your response. I will buy some buna-N stock to have gasoline resistant material in my shop for emergencies. But I have discovered that RANS can supply the gasket and also the filter screen for my gascolator.
