Question: Gary, Was the temp lower with the fairing ?
Answer: Mind you, I've only done tests with and without on the Jaguar cowling. It's worth 20 degrees on my cowling. Minimal additional cooling drag over a flat bottom. The stock rubber boot is actually a very clever design. My guess it was dumb luck, but, there is pressure recovery behind the boot. Not a great deal mind you, but it works.

The design eliminates the raised portion where the handheld microphone used to be. It's a cover for the top portion of the center console.
There is about an hours worth of fabrication plus materials in it. You paint to match.
The going price is $40 plus shipping. As you can see, we won't be making any money on it.
