I am in the late stages of an 8A build. As we all know the cockpit is… snug. I am looking for a way to store two headsets on the right side of the cockpit so they are out of the way but when we are entering / exiting the aircraft. I have seen a simple fabric loop & snap that seemed to be simple and difficult to damage. I have designed in my head a couple of other options (swinging arm and spring loaded arm) both of which live under the canopy rail ledge and are moved into place when they are needed. Unfortunately they have the potential disadvantage of being damaged when misused.
Any suggestions on a headset storage bracket or device for the 8 would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Robin

Robin,
I'm not a clever as you - I just put mine on the rail or in the seat or on glare shield.
But, your ideas are interesting. Let us know what you settle on.

I believe this to be one of the items best left until you are flying. I found the dash (glare shield) underneath my official Van’s cap to be best for me.
Surprising, but some things that make perfect sense when building, don’t when flying.
