Thanks for all the help and great pics. Just wondering if the wings are stitched in the same way?

It is definitely the same technique.
Only for applying this technique you have to put the wing in a support that allow to rotate the wing from one side to the other because your needle have to go from one side to the other and you have to make a knot on each side for safety.
On my airport we have a training course for certifying people for covering planes and the course is around 2 to 4 days.
You certainly have the same in the US for covering with ceconite and it worth it.
