Our Yak 52 has a weight and balance that says one would be out of the aerobatic envelope if one person is flying from the front seat with full fuel. Can this be right?
Other concerns about our current weight & balance:
1) There are 49 pounds difference between the Left Main and Right Main weights. Is this normal? Seems like a lot to me.
2) Are the forward and aft limits quoted, 15% MAC and 25% MAC, correct?
3) The conversions from MAC to inches is stated as -6.77 to -12.91 inches (aft of the datum which is frame No. 5, the main spar attachment) for normal category and -6.77 to -9.36 inches for aerobatic category. Are these conversions done correctly?
4) Why was it weighed with 29 lbs weight on radio rack behind rear seat? Is this the correct way to weight a Yak 52?
Also, does anyone have any advice on how to do a new weight and balance?
