Cleaveland sells a "Tank Skin Dimple Die Set" that makes a deeper
dimple to allow room for the proseal. I'm about to dimple the tank
skins and am curious if those that have used it are happy they did
and those that didn't wish they had? Or, to ask the question another
way... is it worth the 36 bucks?

The archive discusses this briefly... but the limited discussion
leads me to believe that most builders have done without it.

Jeff,
I have already completed my tanks, and I did use the "tank dimple
dies" for the ribs and stiffeners - but I used the regular dies for the
skins so there would be room for the proseal between the parts.

It worked great; No leaks at all when I tested the tanks.
