Reaching William is hit and miss. Best way these days is to call the hanger:
(386) 478-0396. In my experience repeated calls are more effective than
leaving a message but it depends on the situation.
Currently he is busier than usual between the summer air shows, a road trip
to Canada and some (good) things happening in his personal life.
I suspect that if you are posting your question on this list then you may
not know about the Corvair-aircraft-specific list. That is certainly a great
place to ask questions that don't require a answer directly from William:
Search the CorvAircraft archives at
http://www.maddyhome.com/corvairsrch/index.jsp
Other CorvAircraft list info is at
http://www.krnet.org/corvaircraft_inst.html
The correct etiquette is to search the archives before asking a question.
You can also search William's extensive web site for answers to general
questions. Try:
http://www.davemorris.com/SearchFlyCorvair.cfm
Or try the Google box at the bottom of William's home page:
www.flycorvair.com.
For general questions the first thing to do is look for the answer in
Williams conversion manual. He is also more receptive to answering questions
from people who have purchased the manual.
This is undoubtedly more than you wanted to know - hopefully some of it will
be helpful.

Persistance.
And don't forget about the wildfires in the area. His whole crew was
unable to get in to the shop earlier this week due to the closure of
I95, so I'd wait until the smoke clears a bit.
Best,
Rick Lindstrom
