Guys
We built ( 2 ) 601's and used "Gasola" on the tank filler threads.
It is a fuel proof sealant that can be purchased at any warehouse that handles petroleum products.
It works on all kinds of metals. I can remove my filler nozzles with hand pressure only.

GasOila is good stuff but it is the same stuff as liquid pipe dope with PTFE that you can get locally at Lowes and such.
