If you are at all interested in Corvair engines in aircraft, especially one
designed by Zenith then this should be of interest to you. Zenith will be
hosting an open house with William Wynne at their factory on the 20th. This
would allow you to get your facts first-hand about the planes, the engine
and the combination.
This open house is also significant for 701 builders. In the past the
Heintz's and William have debated whether the Corvair is a suitable engine
for the 701. They now believe that it is a feasible configuration. William
likes to build and fly designs before he offers them for sale. So part of
the reason for this trip is to pick up a complete 701 kit.
Although William's Corvair-powered 601XL will *not* be there they will have
two converted engines, conversion manuals and a selection of the other
products that William sells.

I've visited both William and the Zenith factory. If you are evaluating the
Corvair engine and can make it to the factory on this day I think you would
find the day invaluable.
No, I don't work for William.
