Hello Scott,
I have been using the Harbor Freight riveters (about 6 at a time always) in my factory since I knew about HF, could be since early 90's.
This is 8 hrs a day, until they just fail (they last several years a piece)...
The cup is the first thing to get lost. Never had a stem ejected. the only problem is when a stem gets caught inside the jaws and need to be desasembled and cleaned, then back to work...
Cant imagine how this could happen. with a straple gun, one worker bulls eyed a lamp in the roof and got fired, he was practicing "straple shooting". But this is another tool and story
Saludos
