Subject: Welcome to the NAFI ELSA / Part 103 Discussion Group
Greetings fellow ELSA enthusiasts! I just wanted to drop everybody a note to make sure his list is working properly and giver everyone an opportunity to meet each other. If you would, why don't you take a minute to post a short note to tell us about yourself and what you hope to accomplish through this collaboration.
I'll start. I'm Helen and I run a light sport flight school in Maryland. While we deal with higher end LSAs, Bob Snyder has spent a good deal of time educating me about the hardships the LSA rules have inadvertently planted upon the part 103 and associated community. I believe that everyone should have access to quality flight training and hope that this group can find a resolution to this problem.

There are plenty of certified birds that have the pitot tube in a similar location, so you shouldn't have any issues.

Tom from Southern N.J. Rebuilding a Kitfox IV. Need tail wheel training endorsement for my Sport Pilot cert. Flying a Trike for 10 years now. Flying as Sport Pilot since the beginning. Would like to train in a KItfox, Luscombe or any other side by side stick control plane. May have to trian in a cub or champ.
