Hi Frank,

With the cup on, I saw one stem punch right through the cup!! So I'm =
thinking if I took the cup off, how far would that stem penetrate my =
forehead? Glad to hear you got through the project in one piece =
though... Surprised)

<<Can you not take the cup off...Never had one on mine and it worked
perfectly right throughout the build...Rivet tails fall on floor>>

Really?...I doubt that was as a result of the stem coming out at the
speed of a bullet...They really don't work that way (at least mine
doesn't) Are you sure the cup wasn't full and it was the problem of
trying to stuff one more stem into an already full cup?

If you take the cup off how fast to the stems 'fly' out of the back?

Frank

one of our assembly teams at work uses quite a few different rivet guns. All have had the cup removed for ease of use. It works pretty well, just sweep the floor at the end of the day. So far no one has lost a forehead in the process! : ) There have been quite a few flying rivet stems, but they have little mass and cause no damage. I mean, hey. We can strap a thousand pound piece of aluminum to our butts and take to the air. I think we should be able to dodge a few rivet stems without worry. : )

They don't fly out on either one of my rivet guns.
