When the tornadoes came through the other night, they took out a friend of mine and almost got his wife too. Ron had a Twinstar, and then got an enclosed version of the Twinstar like Krystal has. Before I got my MKIII, I went to talk to him, and he put on an aerobatic demonstration for me. He would loop and spin his Twinstar with very little provocation.
However, he also once got his airspeed up high enough in a spin that during the recovery, he split the fabric in a couple places on the underside of the wings. That settled him down a bit...
Several years ago Ron made a profession of faith, trusting Christ for forgiveness. That makes his loss easier.
