The theory has been proposed that the engine mounts on a Tiger sag by 3/8 of an inch within a few months.

The pics below are of N28840 taken yesterday.  I installed the engine in this plane with new Lord mounts in May 2000.  As you can see, they don't sag.

I'm going to say your mileage may vary.  I am not saying others haven't seen something different.  I would have liked to have been there to see it for myself.
