what size nose wheel and tire on 601 hds?  has  480x8 tire  and wheel i have says italy-15x1.5  the tire seems a  little tight in the nose fork.  thanks   ralph   601  hds  corvair

         If your tire is rubbing, you have correct tire. Is the distance     from outside to outside of the lower part of the fork 123mm? If not     123 +/- 2mm the fork itself is undersized.

Sounds like you may have original tire but a different wheel.
