I did a dual stick mod with the finished product looking similar in 

shape to Larry's.  I cut the Y stick just above where it attaches to 

the aileron control rod. I used 4130 tubing to make the dual sticks 

and welded the assembly to the stub of the Y stick.  For ease of 

ingress and egress I am using a pin (I call it a pip pen) to connect 

the dual sticks to the aileron control rod and when removed, the dual 

sticks simply fold down to the floor.  I haven't flown yet, but, 

setting in the seat the control feels good and I think it will work 

out fine.  I can provide pictures off line if desired
