Too far aft, and it will get so sensitive as to be uncontrollable.

I am not a test pilot and I strive to keep my CG exactly where it should be. But, in the flight simulator I use, I experiment a bit and my experience is that, if the CG is rather aft, the stall characteristics change in the way that the plane stalls from one wing or the other and it's difficult to "mush down" as I do with the real plane. An aft CG also makes the virtual Kitfox more prone to ground loop.
I don't know if this is true for real-life and I don't want to base my knowledge on a computer model but ... does this make sense to you guys?

Cheers,
Michel

At least my RC aerobatic aircraft behaves as you said. Forward CG, and full
stall mushes wings level. Aft CG, and it starts wing rocking. But the aft CG
sure makes the responsiveness better.

Computer model? Can you post more info on that? Is it a custom sim or a new plane model for an existing sim? Would it be possible for me to acquire one?

My C of G is on the forward limit with just me flying and with gap seals
it'll stall land ok, however I tend to do tail low wheelers. The trim is set
almost right aft in this config for landing. John A Series 5
