For your amusement and so that you can see that I am doing my best to nudge
Belgium into dropping its outrageous fee for letting Permit aircraft in, you
might like to look at the attached letter. I shall of course have to get to
Holland in future by going straight across the 100 miles of N Sea from Essex
to somewhere like Middelburg!

Well done David - let's hope that common sense prevails. You might like to
have added that those chosing to bypass Belgium could be persuaded to stop
and spend money in the Country if it were not for this charge.
I am surprised that this has not been taken up by the CAA/LAA/Charles
Strasser/AOPA or someone in that vein.
