I have installed my Navwox ADS-B and am very pleased with it's performance.



Bill Moffit at Navwox helped me configure the unit once I had installed it.  He dialed into my computer attached to the maintenance port and did the setup remotely.   We did the setup around 7:00 PM on a Friday which I thought was awfully nice of him to volunteer.



The installation required one additional TXP and one GPS antenna.  I now count 11 antennas installed on my plane.

I was concerned about the TXP antenna's location and I can report that I do not have any issues with it's location under the belly, between the MB antenna and about 3' from the VOR/ILS antennas.

The weather information is identical to XM's nexrad and metars, at least on my display.  Nexrad  seems to refresh every 5 minutes.  My XM did not refresh in clouds, when I needed it the most, and I am hoping that ADS-B weather will update normally, regardless of flight conditions.  I noticed that the weather resolution is much coarser when compared with XM on the same display.

The ADS-B box is connected to an old GRT (first generation) and kudos to GRT for keeping up with the technology.  I did not have to purchase a new display to use Navworx.  GRT had already incorporated the needed software in one of their routine software updates.

I find the traffic display to be dead accurate.  I am aware of the traffic around me before the Center calls them out.  Attached is a photo of the traffic display. Traffic Alert on the display only opens when traffic is within 2 miles of my position.

It took 6-8 weeks to get mine.  I ordered in June thinking I would miss the osh rush. No such luck.
