Last night I installed the oil cooler onto the airbox and noticed it's a very leaky setup.  Attached is a photo of the *inside* of the airbox and you'll notice some big gaps on the corners and even a gap down the sides.

Has anyone sealed these?  I'm thinking of putting a fillet of red rtv along the edges and a blob in the corners to keep the air moving through the cooler and not around it.

That’s what I did. Lot more of the red high temp RTV on the baffles and sealing around the engine as well.

I'm going to be hiding all my firewall awesomeness behind a split cowling and paint!

One the topic of baffles and installing RTV.  Has anyone found an applicator that's long (~12 Inches) and skinny (~3/16") for pumping the stuff into some pretty tight spots?  It seems like there could be a pneumatic applicator or a mechanical plunger type that would get you into some pretty tight spots.

Grab a plastic straw from Mc Donalds and cram it on the end of your applicator and reach as far as you want.
