				Hi All,

Checking our rigging during annual we have had some issues/question re adjustments available and remedies. Our starboard aileron mass balance weight extends into the airstream about an inch when both ailerons are aligned with the wing training edge. Port side is recessed appropriately. The Bondline section on rigging mentions a "factory fix" for the issue (at this point we are assuming our aileron mass balance hole was drilled incorrectly causing this misalignment).

What is the factory fix available?

Also our flap down position exceeds the allowable limit (limit is 47, ours are 49 to 50 degrees), the maintenance pub mentions adjusting the forward limit switch to correct for this, but there doesn't appear to be any way to adjust the switch. How does one adjust the limit switch? My only thought would be to bend the arm on the switch to make it actuate sooner to limit the down position of the flap..

Another question is we've noticed some play in the flap torque tube bearing. Is there any way to remove play up by tightened the bearing without disassembling the bracket attached to the honeycomb and/or the flap torque tube. It appears that there is a bolt which passes through the bearing inside the torque tube, could that be tightened?

One more question concerning on what appears to be a "flap striker plate?" attached to the wing just forward of ~ mid span on the flap, there is a "rub" surface on the flap just beneath it, does anyone have this part? One of ours is missing., Pics attached

  Thanks for assistance,

  Cheers
  Bill Chambers

This is pretty common with the original thin skid plate. Get a new plate from Fletcher.
