I need to understand how this type of switch works. My goal is to turn on two landing lights and then turn off one to use as a taxi light.
Thanks for help in advance.

Hi Dave,
Are you saying that you want to flip the switch UP and have both the Landing light and the Taxi light ON, and then flip the switch DOWN and just have the Taxi light ON and the Landing light OFF? In the Center position both Landing and Taxi lights would be OFF?

I have the Honeywell switches on my -10 and -8A. A few of them are 3 position switches. I use them for my:
Lights On/WigWag/Off
Safety Trim On/Off/Reverse (Reverse is momentary)
Both work great. I don’t see why you could not use these for your lighting needs.
