-10 parking area looks ok. A couple tents and planes in HBC got knocked around but not too bad.

OMG that thunder mustang driver is going to be PO'd at that little biplane owner. I can't believe it....just walked by that thing yesterday. Haven't been by to see my plane but that's probably only 200-300 yards from most RV10's.

Another RV 10 builder Went and checked the tiedowns used on that airplane. They were just dog tiedowns. Cheap ones.

Good tie downs didn't help the Mustang.
Its always the guy without the quality tie downs the spoils the afternoon.

Hope everyone had their gust locks on!!

The problem with anyone's insurance fixing it, is that the Mustang did
everything right yet he may find himself stuck at OSH waiting to get his
plane fixed because someone used a spike instead of a tie down.
Shame!
The question is what is up with this plane?

why is it tail heavy? I hear people have mentioned the RV-10 will drop on
the tail if the CG (aka passengers) are not loaded correctly, but wouldn't
the plane drop back on the front gear again, or does it stay this way? (I
know the picture is not a -10)

The plane appears to be pushed forward pulling on the wing tie downs which are behind the spar, holding the nose up?

It looked like the only damage on the Thunder Mustang was the shattered canopy and whatever the rain getting in might do. Hopefully he'll be good to go with just a new canopy.

The biplane had all four wings crumpled. Lesson of the day: don't use dog leash spikes to tie your plane down... or park by those who do.
