I'm flying G-CHOX to Texel on Friday. Anyone else from the club going? Weather looks great.

We intend to leave Lydd about 1100 on Friday; Routing will be DVR dct Konan dct KOK dct COA then inland of Amsterdam to PAM,
There are at least 10 Europa’s expected to attend the rally as of yesterday

Hi Goff,

I'm glad you started a new thread on the Dutch Fly-In, it gives me a 2nd opportunity to ask if you or anybody else is willing and able to pick me up at Hoogeveen (ICAO: EHHO) and drop me off again upon return. EHHO is only a small detour when flying in from the south, and of course I will pick up the additional costs for carrying me along...

(I had a landing mishap a few weeks back, eliminating my chances to fly there with my bird, so I am hoping some Europaphile is willing and able to provide me the opportunity to take a seat in another Europa Smile )

Please make sure to keep a sharp lookout for other traffic east of Schiphol CTR. Vertically limited by Class-A airspace starting at 1500', this rather narrow 'corridor' can at times be VERY busy.

Personally I try to avoid this piece of airspace, too high a concentration of aluminium and fiber in the air for my comfort Wink

I'll be flying to Texel on Friday, routing along the Dutch coast. I will be returning to Goodwood on Saturday.
