It's a great time to be flying. This past weekend my wife and I flew from central South Carolina to St Augustine Fl for a long weekend. The trip was great and the weather was beautiful!  The plane was a sheer pleasure to fly (no pun intended).  It's like Greg Smith used to say, "you never stop building". I keep finding ways to improve the plane and make it better and enjoy it all the more. What a great little plane! Recently I put a RV front wheel pant on it like Jim Fillmans and really like it. Lots of heavy maintenance this past few months after seven years of flying and 550 hours but now ready for many more years of fun service. 

  

I recently bought a used HP slate to run the windows version of Anywhere Map Pro and it's a really nice piece. It's got a seven inch screen and works really well in the cockpit. One day I'll go modern on the panel when I can stand to have the plane down for awhile.

Hi -- are you located in SC? If you ever make it up to NC I'd love to see your plane (or if you're in Northern SC I'll fly to you! 



I'm in with a partner looking at purchasing a pulsar II, and candidly have done as much research as the internet will allow me to do before simply meeting somebody else in the area.
