Two weeks ago I had a high EGT reading at cruise on the #3 cylinder.
(1600-1700) It turned out the probe was worn through from the exhaust pipe.
The probe was installed where the pipe has a slip joint and the vibration
wore through the probe casing. When I replaced the probe I enlarged the hole
on the inner pipe so that should not happen again.
