I saw a picture and it looked like an Islander, not a Commander.

The media says it's a Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander, although they usually get it wrong.
Looks like a Commander to the uninformed.

This aircraft is a Britain-Norman Islander, you can easily tell by the
dual wheel fixed main gear, & the shape of fuselage & tail group are
