I am just at the stage of getting my medical for this year and wondered if it would be easier to 'downgrade' my current UK JAA PPL to an LAPL with the less stringent medical?

Any thoughts?

Richard, the LAPL seems a good alternative to a NPPL but
unless your medical is getting a bit dodgy, I can't see
any benefit over a PPL. Are you going to be flying this
