What altitudes do you fly at?

I have the Czech parachutes, they do not have the oxygen (neither does my aircraft) but do have the barometric "auto opener" set to open at around 10-12k feet.

Here were I am I don't operate above 20k ft so they are ok as they are, without the oxygen.

Regards
Jorgen

 thanks Greg

It has turned into a very complicated issue.  If you are going to have hot seats you need the auto inflate option as well as the emergency oxygen.    I prefer to maintain the Russian harness system that I am familiar with. The only choice may be to have these features custom added to a USA made chute.   I have these PK-29 chutes that appear in great condition and i was hoping  to get some use before I had to spend the big bucks . But the ultimate concern is safety of course

I'm not sure about strong chutes but my butlers in my T-33 have both of those options

I am looking for some information about the L-29 parachute system.  The Romanian L-29 used the PK-29 chute. I think the Czech and Russian aircraft used the S-3.  Can someone confirm that for me?

These are not normal chutes and utilized an internal barometric device to auto open the chute as well as a chute bottom emergency oxygen canister.   I am looking at making the seats hot in one of my L-29's.  I need to have these functions available.   Choices are to have these features added to a USA strong type chute or buy new foreign made chutes (very pricy) or have a material strength  test and try to utilize these original chutes from 1996.
I am looking for any CONSTRUCTIVE comments . thanks...bob

Wish I could "help" you out Paul! I guess keeping it and getting back to it later is not an option?
