				Hi Folks,

I'm getting really close to finishing my plans-built CH-640. I'm to the point I need to buy the propeller, and I want to compare the performance of climb versus cruise pitches.

From Zenair, I was supplied the FWF pick list which shows the Sensenich 76EM8-0-54. On the Sensenich website, their propeller selection guide shows 76EM8-0-61, 63, or 65 are appropriate for the CH-640. This is a really wide range of pitches: from 54" to 65".

I don't want to buy an under-pitched propeller since I want to do a lot of long distance cruising. And, of course, an over-pitched propeller will stress the engine too much. So what does the group think? What pitch are you using, and how well does it work for you?

 Thanks.
