				Hi Bob,
Good to hear from you.   Hope all is well and you are getting lots of flying in. We will miss you at the Homecoming and Fly-In.
As to information on the new horizontal stab, take a look at past Lightning Newsletter Issue 6-1. We had an extensive write up on the MK-2 tail to include why the change was made, how it flies, and good info on modifying any currently flying Lightning to the new tail configuration. If you have any questions after looking at that, let me know.
  Blue Skies,
  Buz

fly in, I’m, sure it will be a success. Bob Haas S/N 00071 N330BH.

       Lightning List,
I'm working to finish up the next Lightning Newsletter (3rd Quarter of 2013) and will try to have it out by next Friday. If you have anything for the newsletter please send directly to me (Buz Rich) at:
    N1BZRich(at)aol.com (N1BZRich(at)aol.com)

Dealers, again, this is your chance for getting the word out on your business and FREE advertising.

All, since some dealers don't have demo Lightnings and Arion doesn't have dealers in all parts of the country, if any Lightning owners would volunteer to take potential customers for a flight, please provide your contact info and airport location and I'll create a list for the newsletter. Add a photo of your "jet" and I'll include that with your information. This will be a good way to get the word out about the best looking and best flying experimental and/or light sport aircraft that is available. No, I'm not biased, I have just flown lots of airplanes and I know when something is exceptional. You builders and owners know what I'm talking about.

Finally, please plan to attend the next Lightning Homecoming and Fly-In at the factory in Shelbyville, Tennessee on the first weekend in October (4-6 Oct). Some folks will arrive on Friday, and there will be hangar activities Friday evening, but the big day will be Saturday the 5th, with a fly-out breakfast and many activities during the day. Most folks will depart on Sunday the 6th. I plan to be there, UNLESS my oldest daughter decided to have her second child that weekend.

    Blue Skies,
    Buz Rich
