Ahhhh......thanks to the fine fellow who brought up the Polished Aluminum subject.
Now maybe the discussion will turn toward the fuel savings realized from not hauling the weight of all that paint.
As somebody mentioned, there is the Polishing Rag Penalty.....baggage compartment will be full of rags and cans of metal polish, no room for beer.
Is there an on-line "calculator" to approximate the weight/fuel savings?
Will a folding stepladder fit inside the aircraft?
Does Elbow Grease come in aerosol cans?
What is the medical term for the Tennis Elbow resulting from this endeavor?

Will the sudden appearance of all these flashy objects result in increased UFO sightings?
Will Bolt Torque discussions decrease?
Idle minds need the answers to these important questions.
