Attached are pics of the inside of my fuel cell.

Kit No. 390

Lay-ups within seem not to be damaged. I assume epoxy was used throughout.

Jeffco is an epoxy. Let me ask the dumb question: Does epoxy need to
be coated with another epoxy ? ? ?

Jeffco is a two part epoxy. Valspar garage floor coating is a two
part expoy. Is there a structural or chemical difference ? ? ?

I am working with a bladder manufacturer to see if a bladder is
aviable solution. There are some issues.

Comments ? ? ? ? ?

The epoxy used for layups is different and layups are inherently a
little porous. This means to seal the surface, it should be coated
after the layup is cured and has been sanded. If you do this with the
same epoxy resin, it will still not be completely sealed, as I have
found out. Probably the Jeffco sealant is better at this job than a
layup resin. It is chemically different and should have better
chemical resistance.

I have no idea what the difference between the Jeffco sealer and the
garage floor coating. I would suggest a long term test, exposing both
to the fuel for a year if you want to know exactly.
