First the home brew landing light. Haven't flown it yet, but looks to be much better than the driving light, even with the HID conversion.

And lastly, the all important EFIS cover. This video really shows the reflection off the canopy as I lift and lower the cover.

I have pics of the cover, but I'm sure everyone will be unique. I just glued some Velcro to the side of the EFIS that extends past the panel and the cover velcros on. It's just two layers of stiff synthetic cloth with a layer of adhesive stiffening foam between. It's just firm enough to hold shape

But not pose a danger in a crash. Knock on wood.
