Back in the early CH600 days when Chris first introduced the tinted

canopy, I recall he said that you lose 1/2 hour at each end of the day,

compared with the clear canopy.  That is, the dusk appearance sensed by

the pilot's eyes near sundown is about 1/2 hour later than the actual

time.
