Income tax he!!. Not that they were difficult to complete, it is just
writing the check will be painful.
Those also going to Sun-N-Fun there is a discount coupon on Aircraft
Spruces web site, along with free shipping on orders placed at SNF.
It will be interesting stopping by the Chelton display. First big show
since the D2A thing. I wounder if the wounds are healed?
Are we going to be meeting at Vans booth at 10 am each day, as usual?

The list has been unusually quiet this past week or so. Where is
everybody? I myself have been quieter than normal, as I'm trapped in
fiberglass hell once more and the itching and twitching isn't
compatible w/ typing .
So what's everybody up too?
Have all of you guys finished and are too busy flying?
Who has the latest modification that they want to share?
Who's getting close to flying? Dean??
What about Sun N' Fun We should get a list of things that people would
like information on for those of us that aren't able to attend. Other
than the new GRT screens and features what else is on everybody's mind?

Taxes and SnF, That's it.
Building an airplane keeps you busy. It's the other stuff that gets in the
way.
I look forward to meeting some other builders at SnF 10AM at Van's sounds
good.
I have a long list of items to consider and information to gather, I am sure
it will be a couple interesting days.
I've been busy redesigning the rudder pedal controls. I hope to have the
system complete in early May.

I just wrote a check for a zero time RV-10 with Garmin 900X including a back up dual Chelton system, air conditioning, full leather interior, Sam James cowl and wheel pants plus an amazing 5 color paint job!
Unfortunately the check was to the federal government and the state of California. Darn.....
Looking forward to my very first Sun-N-Fun. Time to make some electronics decisions.

I hope to show you personally, if you have a chance to visit PDX.
I scrapped the Van's system and replaced it with a tube over tube design,
clean and symmetrical. The pedals will be die-cast alloy split rudder and
brake pads. Cables will connect in the center of the tunnel.
The goals were design and appearance, function, reduced weight, and
adjustability. I can hit some of the targets and passed on others. I'm
having fun with it and I think the set-up will look neat.
I think John Cox has hit a shy streak. Not, I heard he is in Canada for
Rotax engine training. Maybe he is planning to put a 300HP Rotax on his TEN.
Gotta' go catch a plane.

I have been doing inventory and organizing parts on my QB wings, fuse and finish kit and have been doing stuff with the kids during SB. Just about to store the tailcone and start on the wings.
I have decided not to install a stall warning and rather AOA. What is the choice of AOA system for everyone. I am leaning towards a G900X panel which does not integrate AOA yet.

Dave, I installed the "A" kit of the Advanced Flight Systems AOA (http://www.advanced-flight-systems.com/Products/AOA/aoa.html) when I was about where you are. I did not install the factory stall warner.
The AFS 3500 will be our engine monitor and backup EFIS, and it has the ability to display and "speak" the AOA information. Nonetheless, I'm leaning toward putting a separate AOA indicator smack in the pilot's field of view, and am leaning toward the "PRO" model.
Does anybody have advice/opinions on this matter?
We're inventorying a friend's finish kit today and will probably purchase it.
