I just got a call from Rosen and they are sending me a visor setup that we decided would probably work the best (combination of base, swivel and lense). I am going to install it in N256H and take pictures and evaluate with Rosen. If I am happy and they are happy, then it will become the official RV-10 Visor System and they will quote me a group buy price. I was hoping it would be a little faster, but it is better to get it done right than to hurry, I guess.

Are you implying that you have received “official endorsement by Van’s?”
Or is this official from Saint Aviation for RV-10 aircraft?

That's good new Jesse. I encouraged them at SNF to take a serious look at the RV10 customer base. They said they were too busy but would eventually get to it. Thanks for taking the lead on this. Maybe Van's will offer them on their web store and as a finish kit option someday.

I don’t remember saying anything about Van’s. I meant to say in as few words as possible that it would become “Rosen’s official RV-10 Visor System” as opposed to their Cirrus, Piper, Cessna 310 or Universal systems. I do not now nor expect to ever have any “official endorsement by Van’s”. Nothing Saint Aviation is official to RV-10’s either. Just trying to help pave the road for future RV-10’ers to be able to buy a visor system without having to reinvent the wheel.
