I've experienced the same missing when flying on a hot  day.

  

 I have a choke lever in the cockpit.  When it was  missing, I

 added a little choke and the missing got worse.  The  engine

 was running a bit too rich.  The missing is not present  when 

 I fly on cool mornings.

  

 I could lower both carb needles a notch but decided to  leave

 things as they were...
