Yep, www.blueskyaviation.net and click on the Kitfox link then products. He makes lenses for the wingtips on the 7. This is where I am getting mine and then will be installing a set of XeVision HID lights.

I would not bother. The wing tip lights are a horrible runway illuminator,
at best. I flew a couple years with the wingtip lights, which regardless
how well aimed they are, were never better than poor in my opinion.
As in this pic:
http://www.aselia.com/n85ae/mod1.jpg
I made a detachable light bar that attaches to the belly using the float
attach brackets to fasten it to. I mount halogen driving lights to it, and use
a quick connect plug. Takes two minutes to put on my lights, and I look
like a 747 coming in for a landing. A big benefit, is reflected light off the
belly illuminates the ground in the flare. I feed the light bar with a 40A
rated relay, and have a six inch driving light in the center, and two smaller
fog lights on the side. Drag is negligeble, and I pretty much leave the bar
on all the time.
I still have the wingtip lights on the plane, and comparing the two is like
comparing illuminating your garage with a candle to, to illuminating it with
shoplites. Once you have seen the difference you'd never go back. It
is also a LOT easier to make a light bar than it is to fit the wingtip lenses.
Here's an early pic when I was trial fitting it:

It is made from hardware store 1/2" weldable steel tubing. It is an easy
afternoon project if you know how to weld.

Putting landing lights on a tail-dragger is tough, by definition,
since your approach attitude is so different from you touchdown and
taxi attitude. I guess you'd want two lights, one pointed level and
one pointed down, but that would effectively halve your illumination.

With the light bar, and the white belly the reflected light provides great
ground illumination during the flare. However, most time at night I wheel
land it.

The taildragger does pose a bit of a problem when installing landing and taxi lights. I have seen it done a number of times and Guy is right, you want one pointing down for use as a landing light and the other for taxi. The typical incandescent lights don't work as well for this but the new HID are great and they use far less power. As stated, landing lights on taildraggers are tough but when I am flying landing at night, it is always at a very well lighted airport...in these conditions, the landing and taxi lights fill more of a collision avoidance roll than anything. I am also going to install a switch to go from constant to pulse mode. If you have ever seen a plane coming in with the pulsing landing lights, you know they are much more visible than just strobes even during the day.

Hi Darin,
If I remember correctly, you can not turn a HID light
on and off rapidly or pulse it. You might check that
before you install the pulse system.

Kurt,
You may be right for many systems but a company here in Ogden, Utah (www.XeVision.com) has a system that pulses the HID lights very well. These guys are the OEM supplier of landing and taxi lights for the Diamond Twinstar and for the brand new Quest Kodiak so they have gained FAA certification on their lighting system. I stopped by their hanger last week and talked to them about the setup...I must say, these little lights put out a ton of light for the power consumption required! With both lights on, the current draw is approximately 7 amps and with them pulsing, the steady state current draw is slightly lower, around 5 amps.

Hi Darin,
Very interesting. They came up with a balast that can
pulse! Great lights, but I wish the price was lower.
$500+ ???
Got them on my car and you are right. They seem to go
3 miles on high beam. Hardly used though, or I blind
the oncoming guys even far out.
