I need to get a specific steel sheet I need not a lot about 4 inches sq of 4340 alloy. The Russian part I am replacing is made of GOST4543-71 who's US equiv is 4340. Trouble is aircraft spruce etc only supply 4340 in bars.
4130 is not quite hard enough.
Any help much appreciated.

Dennis,
Thanks for that I called them yesterday and they only have larger sizes available. .1 and up. For reference this is the steel used for undercarriage units also.
Thanks again
Gus
