Drop tanks on the 50? When you get a chance, I would like the details of how you plumbed it and where are you hanging the tanks. I’m assuming two since you post was written as a plural of tank. Got any pictures?

Hal....thanks for the update. I'm delayed due to getting planes delivered back to customers before I leave. Just completed the last FCF....now just have to put the drop tanks on the -50 and head out. Planning St. George, UT tonight....then MTW tomorrow afternoon. See you there!

There are a bunch of Cherokees here now,more due tomorrow. They all leave tomorrow and not returning.

Troops,
Got a message from EAA WB pres Rick.
RPA can arrive on Sunday, in mass, at 1230. That time is set for us. There will be some T-6/SNJ arriving with us.
Just how this will be done and how many NATA will also show up will not be known until the night before.
One plan was for us to meet them at Dodge County, Hartford and sortie together. The other idea is do an phone brief with leads and do an airborne roundup and proceed in together.
Any group larger than 5 aircraft will require special clearance and set times. Smaller groups will do the WB arrival.
The rest of the NATA + T-28 group will show up on Monday for the WB arrival during the show. RPA can do the same or those who are already there can get airborne out of OSH and join the arrival corp.
My personal plan is to arrive at MTW on Saturday the 20th. Sortie on Sunday to OSH in mass.

All,
My plans have changed for rhe better, so it looks like I will be able to get to Osh Thurs.
I am planning to camp unless someone has some sort of accomodation I can join onto.
I am a. great guest, I travell with an 11 pack on my keychain, cover my expenses and know a few dirty jokes I have an airmatress in the baggage compartment.
Arrive thurs depart Sunday
