Bill: Please be careful with full power runups. With the wind from just
the right direction (etc. etc.) it is not unheard of for the airflow off
the prop running under the airplane and reflecting off the ground just
ahead of the horizontal stab to pick the tail up. Some of the more
powerful taildraggers simply can't be run up to full power in the ground
because of that. I'm not even sure my RV-4 with it's pumped up IO-360
and c/s prop would endure a full power run up without tipping up on the
gear. I don't want to find out, that's for sure...
