When I was hunting for interior lighting options long ago, I wanted to get
these nice little post lights, but they were no longer available. Looks
like they're back. Nice...

SteinAir also has those little eye-ball lights in a red LED. I have a
couple of the white, non-LED ones (seems like everyone does), but am not
very impressed with them. Not enough oomph...

Larry, those look great and are just what I've been looking for. Thanks
for passing that along.
In addition to those, I plan on using these light strips (red, of
course) above my switches.

I really like these lights, too. I need something for my switch panel.
Inverters can be bad at causing RF interference, i.e. radio noise. Anyone
heard any problems like that with these light strips?

Looks like the same type of strips I used under my switches on my console ..
no problem with radio noise !!

I just bought two 4' EL strips (I chose aviation blue) for my glare shield and switch panels... nice looking flood lighting with very little current and very light weight/compact. I paid about $6 each on eBay. I have not checked for RFI but the archives suggest a LACK of such problems when I searched the topic.
If there's interest, I can post the eBay seller's link. I think he's got tons of 'em to liquidate.

you see on the hood.Also the dice,neon dash light and so on.
