Has anyone tried to use the fiberglass wingtip position/strobe extensions from Vans with the gis-air (x-pak) LED/Strobe system? I am thinking of the LED system as it is $400.00 versus over $700.00 for the whelen non LED one.
I guess I have problems spending $700.00 for 2 strobes and 4 light bulbs.

If so, did it work? Any problems?

Vince: installed them on my rv6a. they worked fine...the only thing was Van's sent me to
|
right side ones, I had to return one so that they would send the correct one.. They said I never
return it etc.. had a big problem with them..I had proof I mailed it back... finally they send the correct one.
Be sure you get one for the left and one for right side, they are not interchangeable...\\
