I too would like an update on Lowell and his Kay's condition. Does anyone on

the list have any contact with them or seen them? They are to important to

let it slide any longer.

Hi all,

         Since Lowell's condition was fairly satisfactory I was 

waiting until he got back on the web to explain. I understand, 

though, your concerns so I will pass on what I have received second 

hand. (Mark Ferkin talking to Lowell by cell.) I have been unwilling 

to pester him by phone since Mark and others have passed on my 

solicitations, and right now it appears Lowell does not need 

additional assistance.



Lowell crushed a lower back disk and was to go into surgery 

yesterday, (Friday,) morning. Otherwise he was in fairly good repair. 

He apparently handled the recovery of the airplane himself by phone 

and so did not need any assistance from me in that regard. I have not 

yet heard the results of the surgery.



His wife Kay apparently gashed her knee bad enough to require some 

surgery, (it didn't sound major,) but was otherwise OK.



I will not comment on the accident at all as I'm sure that can wait 

until Lowell returns.



As I said, this is second hand, so I hope I have it right. In any 

case I believe Lowell will return to us fairly soon to set things straight.

 Thanks for the update and please keep us posted as news develops.  We  wish Lowell and Kay a speedy recovery, both physically and mentally.  The  fact that they're in relatively good shape physically is great news.  Sure,  it's tough to lose a plane on the other hand it is replaceable if Lowell chooses  to do so.

Thank you for the up date, I was about to go another direction to check on

them. I am looking forward to his hummer on the list again. After being on

Michel,  My Friend,



As Michel Gibbs reported, I can't spend too much time in front of the 

computer, but wamted to report that I returned home just after noon yesterdy 

and within a couple of yours, your flowers arrved.  So beautiful, and so 

thoughtful from so far away, but yet so close.



It was a bit frightening being home and away from all the professionals at 

the hospital.  The flowers couldn't have been more timely.

I felt the same way when they sent me home, Lowell.  Questions like, 

"How am I going to..." and "What if..." kept going through my mind. 

Fortunately, you can probably also trust their professional judgement 

that it's OK for you to go home.



Unless, of course, it was only because your insurance ran out.
