In the builders section for the 601XL you'll find a new drawing posted for the new style linear flap actuator.

One thing about the new actuator is that the limit switches don't
appear to be adjustable like on the old one. This would make matching
the geometry of your flap system to the plans more critical than in the
past. On the other hand if you remove the rubber cover there may be
some form of adjustment still possible.
