The list is too quiet!

So, who else had great w/e flying?

I had a lekker (that’s South African for really good or really tasty) flight yesterday morning. Took up a friend who was paying towards the gas (always nice!) but who did not want to do any acro, so thought the flight would be boring.

Weather was not great, needed special vfr departure, but turned that to our advantage playing in the clouds. So turned into one of those really good flights, pulling around and through the cluds, knife-edging through gaps, etc.

Yes the fuel costs driving relentlessly upward is not good. Here when I started this L29 thing fuel was R4.00 / litre, now its over R7.00 / litre.

Really miss our PA34 – I have the L-29 and a Yak52, no “family ship” to take the family anywhere. Need another airplane!
