Paul,

Several others have told you about the rip off schemes that retailers use to sell you very expensive HDMI and other cables. Some of them have given you links to places that have cheaper but just as good cables. Here is another one that I use. Their product is outstanding and very inexpensive, thus debunking the sales hype that expensive cables are needed to correctly pass digital HDMI data:
