Anyone out there who has taken a big hit financially as a result of Skystar's Chapter 7 examined the tax implications?
I got nailed since I didn't get my engine and a number of other parts. Does anyone know if one can deduct the financial loss somehow when filing this year with the IRS? Perhaps we have to wait until eternity for the bankruptcy crud to officially be over so see if we get a dime from Skyscrew before claiming it as some form of 'loss'....

Technically it is a loss and therefore should be deductable.. But I am no
Tax accountant.
